Anna and Douglas

Anna and Grand Knight Doug Klutzke at the Rincon Pregnancy Care Center in Rincon, Ga.

I would like to thank all those in the St. Boniface Family who partook in the June/July 2015 Breakfast.  It was a wonderful fellowship opportunity and such a great time that was had by all.  Due to such a tremendous turn out we were able to raise $1128.41, which will be applied to the cost of our new organ.

The Knights and Father Martino thank this great Faith Family we have.  God Bless you all!

The Outreach 2nd annual Effingham County coat drive received our first donations from our very own Knights of Columbus Council 14439 with a donation of 24 brand new coats! Thank you!!

If you have gently used or new coats, jackets, sweat- shirts or hoodies that you can donate, please put them in the box located in the lobby of the church, or you may drop by the parish office with your donation. The colors that are school approved are: black, gray, white, navy, hunter green, and burgundy, but anything will be accepted. Many of us are blessed to have more than one winter coat, but many will suffer because they have no coat at all. One coat, one jacket, one sweatshirt, one hoodie, YOU can make a difference.

Rincon Pregnancy Care Center

On Thursday October 10th the Pregnancy Care Center in Rincon held their annual fundraiser. It was announced at the gathering that the Ultra Sound machine had arrived and training has begun. It was also announced that they were starting an award named after one of their long time volunteers, Sonya Kessler. It is to be awarded annually to someone who has done outstanding work in support of the organization.

The first annual award was presented to our very own Vince Mackey for all his work to bring their dream of an ultra sound machine to realization. The Knights of Columbus from Saint Boniface began a fundraiser last fraternal year to raise half of the money needed to purchase the machine, the remainder would be donated by the Knights Supreme Headquarters.

Through the generosity of our parish and other local donations we were able to get the machine for the Pregnancy Care Center. The Knights would like to thank all the parishioners that contributed to this worthwhile cause. The Pregnancy Care Center will be helping not only Effingham County woman and girls but also those from the surrounding the counties to choose life for their unborn babies.
